The above action speaks for itself, but to demonstrate it more clearly, I beg to state, that, two (2) lamps were issued about the same week to the Wardmasters at the Government Civil Hospital.
(21) With reference to the Hon. Dr Atkinson's suggestion that I was incapable and entirely unfit for my office, I beg to point out the fact, very obvious, which is that no other Medical Officer, including the Medical Officer who was P.C.M.O. in the Hon. Dr Atkinson's absence, could find out that fact in (18) eighteen months.
(22) My object in writing this memorial now is two-fold: one, to my knowledge, successor is in receipt of extra pay for doing two (2) men's duty; I respectfully beg to point out that I did two (2) men's duty - by myself.
